Booking & Scheduling
3 questions
You can book online at nemtmedicalmobility.com/book, call us at 720-210-0058, or reach our national line at (877) 742-6342. We recommend booking at least 24 hours in advance for scheduled medical appointments, though we do accommodate same-day requests based on availability.
We recommend booking 24–48 hours ahead for routine appointments. For hospital discharges, dialysis runs, or recurring trips, we suggest setting up a standing order so your ride is automatically scheduled. Same-day rides are available — just call 720-210-0058.
Yes! We specialize in recurring medical transport for dialysis patients, chemotherapy patients, and anyone with regular treatment schedules. Contact us to set up a standing order and we'll handle the scheduling automatically — no need to call every week.
Insurance & Payment
3 questions
Yes. We are a Medicaid-enrolled NEMT provider in Colorado and Wyoming. Eligible patients can receive covered rides to medical appointments at no out-of-pocket cost. Contact your Medicaid managed care plan or call us to verify your coverage.
We accept Medicaid, Medicare Advantage plans, private insurance, and private pay. We also accept credit cards, debit cards, and invoice billing for facilities and care coordinators. You can pay your invoice online at pay.denverwheelchairtransportation.com.
Many insurance plans — including Medicaid, Medicare Advantage, and some private plans — cover NEMT for medically necessary trips. Coverage depends on your specific plan and the nature of your appointment. We recommend calling your insurer to confirm, and our team can help with documentation.

About Us
3 questions
We have been providing medical transportation since 2000 — over 25 years. We were formerly known as Handicab.org, and our team, vehicles, and commitment to patient dignity have remained consistent throughout.
Yes. All N.E.M.T. drivers are trained in passenger assistance, wheelchair securement, CPR/first aid, and HIPAA privacy compliance. We conduct background checks on all staff and maintain ongoing training programs.
Non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) is for patients who need help getting to and from medical appointments but do not require emergency medical care during transport. NEMT is much less expensive than an ambulance and is the right choice for dialysis, chemotherapy, doctor visits, hospital discharges, and similar trips.
