Denver's major hospitals have designated NEMT loading zones separate from emergency and visitor entrances. We know the correct drop-off and pickup points at every major Denver hospital campus — including the Anschutz Medical Campus, which has multiple buildings and a complex internal road system.

I-25 and I-70 Congestion

Denver traffic on I-25 and I-70 can add 20–45 minutes during peak hours (7–9 AM, 4–7 PM). We build buffer time into all Denver pickups and recommend scheduling 30 minutes earlier than your appointment time for morning appointments.

Apartment and High-Rise Pickups

Many Denver patients live in multi-story buildings without ground-floor access. We're experienced with elevator coordination, lobby-level pickups, and buildings that require advance notice for accessible entry.

The Rocky Mountain Regional VA at Anschutz has specific patient transport protocols. We're familiar with VA patient transport requirements and can coordinate with VA social workers and discharge planners.

Winter Weather

Denver's snowstorms can be sudden and severe. We operate through all weather conditions and have experience navigating icy streets with wheelchair passengers safely secured. We recommend calling ahead during storm warnings to confirm timing.
